The current layout consists of the area from the Southern Pacific Bakersfield Yard through the famous Tehachapi Loop to Mojave Yard. After 2 12 years of major construction to build the mezzanine and public viewing area, we are now in high gear to finish the dream started over 20 years ago building the best ever historical model railroad! The Shared Table - Stage 3. Latest up date on development of The Shared Table project, including our terraced vegetable garden which will provide fresh vegies for our table. This part of the project has included the hard work of extracting stones and boulders to create the terraces, plus the instalation of two tanks, a water pump and pipes to provide water not only for the vegetable garden, but for homes around the barrio of Cangallo.
